The Tiger Who Was Bhairavanathji

 The Tiger Who Was Bhairavanathji

At Vaitarna, where Sahaja Yogis had bought 42 acres of land for a children's school, villagers kept letting their cattle graze on the land despite being told it belonged to Shri Mataji.

Suddenly, a massive tiger began appearing in broad daylight, roaring and running across the land for five consecutive days. Terrified, the villagers removed their cattle, belongings, and even their huts, never returning.

Shri Mataji explained that this miraculous tiger was none other than Bhairavanathji (St. George), protecting the land. The region had not seen a tiger in over 30 years, making the incident all the more extraordinary.

Miracle - a tiger who is Bhairavanathji.

It up I’ll give you a very good example of manifestation of another miracle that has taken place, how it works out.

You know we have bought a plot of land of forty-two acres in Vaitarna for the education of children. And the Bombay people went there and planted some three hundred trees and also they had a paddy farming started there. Before the school starts they thought something should be done about it.

But the villagers around would bring their cattle, their cows, and their goats and all of them to graze in that ground. So they got very much worried and the Sahaja Yogis in Vaitarna also said that, “You shouldn’t this, this is Mother’s land.” Again they had a meeting of the villagers, they told, “This is Mother’s land, you better not come here.” They wouldn’t listen to them.

And one day suddenly in the daytime a very big tiger appeared, very big tiger, of a very large size. And he started roaring and jumping all over, running all over the place whatever we had purchased and all that. And everyday he did it for five days and they got such a fright that they took away their lock, stock and barrel, as you say, and everything.

Their cattle and their everything they took away, tied it together and all of them. They’ve also removed their huts, I’m told, they’re so frightened. And this tiger is nobody else but is Bhairavanathji. He does that and you know that He’s St. George who’s working so very hard. Nobody has seen a tiger there the last thirty years and that area is not known at all for tigers and such a big tiger, they said.

Gagangiri Maharaj and his meeting with Shri Mataji

The Divine Shield of Light - Angapur Stone Pelting Incident

The Divine  Shield of Light - Angapur Stone Pelting Incident An extraordinary incident took place in Angapur, near Brahmapuri. A public program was being held in the open, with a stage set up next to a bus stand. As soon as the program began, a group from Andhra Pradesh arrived and started hurling stones at the stage. At that moment, Shri Mataji was seated on the stage, and behind Her were all of us—the musicians and the video team. My immediate reflex was to rush forward and stand in front of Shri Mataji, hoping to shield Her from the stones. But the moment I did, She gently moved me aside. This happened two or three times. Then I thought to myself, “What should I do now? How can I protect Shri Mataji?” In desperation, I prayed: “Please tell me, how should we protect You?” At that very moment, I caught a glimpse of Her Virata form. I saw a radiant, effulgent wall of light, within which were seated the deities and goddesses. As the stones flew toward Her, they struck that luminous ...

Sri Baba Mama brother of Shree Mataji, "My Memoirs"

An Extract from the book written by Sri Baba Mama brother of Shree Mataji, "My Memoirs" :  In August 1942, my father was in jail and the family was under financial stress. At such a juncture, Shri Mataji, who was studying in the Science College, decided to stop Her college on the 15th of August, our Independence Day, by picketing in front of the gate. My mother, though very conservative, did not object to Her political activity. As a protest, Shri Mataji decided to picket in front of Her college and stop all the students who were trying to enter.  The Principal of the college was a good friend of the family, but he got orders from the British authorities to rusticate anybody who picketed or disobeyed the college rules. Mr. Krishnamurti, who was vice principal, was asked to go and persuade Shri Mataji to stop and to say that if She did not stop picketing, She would be given a college-leaving certificate. In those days, rustication meant that you could not seek admission i...
